Black Day

April 14th is Black Day here in Korea. Black Day is the last in a series of made up holidays celebrating 사랑(sarang, LURVE). RECAP: The first ones are February 14th (Valentine's Day, where coupled up girls buy for guys) and March 14th (White Day, where coupled up guys buy for girls). Black Day is a much more informal day for single people to get together and eat 자장면 (Jajangmyeon)--wheat noodles covered in a sweet black bean sauce. THE NOODLES ARE BLACK JUST LIKE OUR JADED HEARTS, BOO HOO

A new 자장면 restaurant right outside my apartment opened up yesterday, just in time for black day, which is exciting 'cause its super-delicious stuff
