Dirty Joke #612 About Crabs Goes Here

This weekend, a bunch of my friends and I rented out a minbak (Korean-style motel) near Yeongdeok for the Yeongdeok Snow Crab Festival.

THE GUESTLIST

외국인 (Foreigners)
1) Me
2) Charles
3) Emily
4) Brendan
5) Nic
5) Bob

Koreans:
1) Anthony
2) Steven
3) Hoon

Our place that we stayed in was right on the ocean. We drove nearly six hours (!) (or rather, Anthony drove us nearly six hours in his company van, what a baller) to get excellent prices on snow crabs/eat prolific amounts of food/climb around on big-ass cement tripod things/go fishing/drink.

Lots of giggles were had, climbing around on these rocks

THE CRABZ

These are the live 'uns

These are the ones Anthony and Steve bought wholesale and cooked for us. All food in Korea pairs nicely with Cass, what is essentially the Bud Light of Korea

NOM NOM NOM

LET THE EATING COMMENCE

Brendan digs in

Everyone digs in

Steve attempts to stop eating to pose; Charlie and Anthony refuse to quit

Emily and Brendan

Post crab-eating craziness (Emily) and incredulity (Charlie)

We watched fireworks after our massive pig-out. The show was short-lived but lovely:

Some pretty excellent crab signage by night

Fun times, a break from the 'Bu/Seoul, and everybody got CRABZ HARDY HAR HAR
